FIBER ART

LINDY MORGAN

FIBER-LICIOUS

ARTIST BIO

I discovered the Japanese art of Nuno Felting on silk almost 15 years ago. Immediately, I fell in love with all the rich colors and the tactile nature of wool. It was not until I retired, 8 years ago, that I was able to commit myself to learning. I have taken numerous classes from some wonderful mentors.

In June, you will find me, and a felting group, on Monhegan, painting with wool! Today, I enjoy all processes of felt making, from needle felting to wet felting and the combination of the two. I am proud to call Just Us Chickens my primary home. It has been a supportive environment for me as I continue to develop my skills. In fall and winter, I host felting workshops at my home on the Bellamy River in Dover, NH.
